Agriculture Minister Visits NFUS Ayrshire

I joined my colleague Jim Fairlie MSP for a meeting with representatives of the National Farmers Union Scotland (NFUS) Ayrshire branch.

A former farmer himself, Jim listened and discussed issues ranging from dairy processing to Ecological Focus Area grants to bluetongue disease.

It was a very full, frank and friendly conversation, with the Minister hearing directly what the priorities of Ayrshire’s farmers are.
