Millport Town Hall’s Official Opening
Today marks a proud and long-awaited moment for Cumbrae as the newly regenerated Millport Town Hall is officially re-opened.
After more than seven years of planning, dedication and hard work by volunteers and trustees, this historic building has been transformed into a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable community hub.
The SNP Government played a vital role in supporting the project, contributing a total of £1,934,000 in Regeneration Capital Grant Funding to help bring the vision to life.
From the restored Victorian ceiling in the main hall to the new community kitchen, arts spaces, and accessible lifts, every detail reflects the care and ambition of those who made this happen.
With a full day of celebrations ahead and exciting events already planned, Millport Town Hall is once again at the heart of the community.
