Today I was with Deputy First Minister John Swinney MSP, pupils and staff member from Largs Academy and Irvine Royal Academy at the Team North Ayrshire Business Conference - The Economic Vision for North Ayrshire.
Some 220 delegates were at the four-hour event, which outlined in detail the work being carried out by Team North Ayrshire to attract investment, increase employment, innovation, exports and inclusive growth.
Team North Ayrshire has tremendous ambition; to transform North Ayrshire to become the most improved local economy in Scotland by 2025 and the key drivers on how that will be achieved, were set out with inspiration, enthusiasm and determination as was the role of each of us in making it happen.
