Motion: Funding Success for Three Towns Growers


On 12 March, Kenneth lodged the following Parliamentary motion to congratulate the Three Towns Growers on securing a significant amount of funding for their facilities. The motion can be found below:

That the Parliament congratulates Three Towns Growers on securing £367,043 from the Big Lottery Fund Scotland; understands that the group will use the funding to improve the range of facilities that it provides so that more local people can benefit from its work; appreciates the ongoing actions of the group to give people the opportunity and training to live a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle, as well as improve the mental and physical health of the community through healthy eating, fresh air, exercise and social interaction; recognises that the funding will go towards improving access to the site, expanding the number of growing areas and providing a new purpose-built cabin for local community groups to use, and wishes the group every success for the future.
