Scotland's unemployment rate fell to a new record low in the three months to February, according to the Office for National Statistics.
The jobless total fell by 8,000 from the previous quarter to 93,000, to stand at 3.3% - well below the UK figure of 3.9%.
Kenneth Gibson MSP commented:
“This is excellent news for Scotland. Figures also show that employment among Scots of working age rose by 11,000 to 2,602,000.
“With economic challenges ahead, it is important that creating and sustaining employment will continue to be a priority for the SNP Government.”
