Scotland Should Not Have to Mitigate Tory Welfare Cuts

On Wednesday, in response to a question by Kenneth Gibson MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Social Security and Older People Shirley-Anne Somerville MSP said: "The fact that we have to provide for the nearly one third of a million households in Scotland that require a Scottish welfare fund is a sad indictment of the UK Government’s record on welfare cuts. We have provided money to ensure that the Scottish welfare fund is there for people who are in crisis." To view Kenneth's question and the Cabinet Secretary's response, click on the video.
