Foster Care Fortnight is The Fostering Network's annual awareness campaign, which this year runs from 13 to 26 May.
On Wednesday evening, Kenneth took the opportunity to speak in the debate at the Scottish Parliament to pay tribute to foster carers and to highlight the need for more carers to come forward.
He also reminded the chamber that in March this year, the SNP Government outlined plans to strengthen the law so that placing brothers and sisters together when in care is given higher priority than at present - while in 2017, 23% of fostered siblings were not placed together.
