North Ayrshire Launches Community Support Hubs for COVID-19

To provide local residents with support during the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak, North Ayrshire Council has launched Community Support hubs.

Each of the six localities has its own hub, which serves as a local point of contact for need arising from COVID-19 including health and well-being, money and food. They are staffed by a small team of North Ayrshire Council and Health and Social Care Partnership staff.

They will respond with advice, signposting, referral or coordinating volunteers.

The hubs will not be open to the public but will work alongside what’s underway in local areas.

Most hubs can be contacted by telephone from Monday to Friday between 10am and 1pm.

Arran will operate from 9am to 7pm.

The answer machine will be on outwith these times and all messages will be picked up the following day.

For useful information for your locality, visit the following link:

The document in the link sets out contact details, community initiatives which assist with anything from shopping deliveries to preventing social isolation, per locality.

Cunninghame North is divided into four localities: Garnock Valley, Three Towns, North Coast, and Arran.

Largs, Cumbrae, Skelmorlie and West Kilbride fall under the locality called North Coast.
