I was delighted by the success of today's Employment Fayre. We had 600-700 attendees and 62 exhibitors across two halls and a side room.
Thanks must go to everyone in Cunninghame North SNP whom helped to promote the event, Ashley Milne and Yasmin Erginsoy who persuaded so many companies and organisations to attend, the DWP for being so supportive and channelling businesses with vacancies our way and Billy for setting up the hall.
I also wish to thank the exhibitors themselves who were delighted by the turnout and the enthusiasm of the attendees and those who came along and in many cases will have found work, apprenticeships or even just a better idea of what opportunities exist.
