I recently joined Miss Walker's and Mrs Bruce’s third-year Home Economics class to try my hand at Chickpea Curry.
Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food supports ‘a healthier, happier world through the joy of food’ and supports schools to help pupils cook and eat more healthily.
The pupils were kind enough to let me and Patricia Gibson MP participate, and I even managed to pick up a trick or two of their kitchen expertise.
Visiting schools and hearing from young people is one of my favourite activities as MSP.
