I asked the Minister for Local Government Empowerment and Planning Joe Fitzpatrick MSP, about average Council Tax bills in Scotland compared to England and Scotland.
The Minister highlighted that every Scottish household benefits from cheaper tax bills.
For example, the average 2023-24 Band D charge in Scotland is £648 less than in Tory-run England, and £463 less than in Labour-run Wales.
