Yesterday I spoke in the Stage 1 debate on the Scottish Budget.
Once again the SNP Government faced difficult financial decisions, given the impact of inflation, Tory cuts to our budget and the inept decisions of a UK Government which only last autumn almost crashed the UK economy.
As ever, opposition politicians demanded that ‘more’ money should be spent across a range of portfolios rarely even attempting to say how much ‘more’ is of from where – other portfolios or increased taxes – the money should come from.
