On Wednesday morning, in my capacity as Convener of the Finance and Public Administration Committee, I hosted a breakfast seminar on the latest economic and fiscal outlook for Scotland at Holyrood organised by the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe).
At the event, held for MSPs and staff, the Scottish Fiscal Commission (SFC) presented their latest economic and fiscal forecasts which underpin the Scottish Budget.
SFC Chair Professor Graeme Roy, aided by SFC Commissioner Professor David Ulph, explained the forecasts and discussed the assumptions which underpin them.
Both professors then answered each question put to them.
