Kenneth and Patricia Gibson recently attended the Presentation and Celebration of Successful Applicants to “Vall£Y Voices for Vall£y Money.”
The Valley Voices 2021 Working Group deliberated over, and made awards to, 42 community organisations across the Garnock Valley.
Grants to each successful organisation ranged from £400 to £1,500. Successful recipients ranged from Beith Play Park Action Group to Dalry Community Garden and Kilbirnie Blasties 2006s FC.
“Living in the Garnock Valley, it was great to see so many excellent local community organisations benefitting from the SNP Government’s Investing in Communities Fund, supported by North Ayrshire Council.
“The three valley community councils of Beith, Dalry and Kilbirnie deserve tremendous thanks for coordinating this event with Beith Community Development Trust.”
Patricia Gibson MP added:
“Our three Garnock Valley community councils and the volunteers of the many, many organisations who give their time and energy to work for the people and communities of the Garnock Valley make a huge difference locally.
“I wish them well as they continue with activities and a commitment that is both vital and much appreciated in our communities.”
