Ensuring Bus Franchising Works for Our Island Communities

On Thursday I raised the potential impact of bus franchising on small island businesses with Connectivity Minister, Jim Fairlie MSP.

While franchising bus services across the West of Scotland is the right approach, it must be done in a way that considers the unique challenges of Scottish island communities and their local bus enterprises.
