Improving Kidney Health in Scotland

Ahead of my Members Business Debate on Chronic Kidney Disease earlier last week, it was a pleasure to welcome to the Scottish Parliament (from left to right):

Dawn MacLean from the Scottish Kidney Federation, Judith Connell from Kidney Care UK , Lucy Vasiliou from the NKF - National Kidney Federation , Carolyn Brown from the Scottish Kidney Federation, Thom Thorp from Vantive Health and Bushra Riaz from Kidney Research UK.

Kidney health needs to place much higher on Scotland’s public health agenda and I appreciated the opportunity to hear directly from some of those working on the front line of kidney care and advocacy.
