Responding to the UK Government Spring Statement

I asked First Minister John Swinney MSP if he agreed the Spring Statement was a missed opportunity to:

• Abolish an Energy Profits Levy that’s costing 1,000 jobs each month in the North Sea at a time of fuel insecurity.

• Remove increased Employers National Insurance Contributions which have hit the low-paid, businesses and cost 200,000 jobs.

• Finally deliver justice to 3.6 million WASPI women, betrayed by the UK Government.
