The West of Scotland League Cup Final

I attended the Junior West of Scotland League Cup final at Broadwood in Cumbernauld to back Largs Thistle against Auchinleck Talbot. I enjoyed chatting to club officials and supporters about the club, its history and ambitions.

Despite playing well, “Theesel” were defeated 2-0 in what was a close and entertaining game. Largs’ focus is now on their Scottish Junior Cup semi-final return leg against Johnstone Burgh at Barrfields on 18 May. Theesel are 1-0 up after the first leg. A big crowd is expected to roar them on
