Whitlees Gala Day 2025

This afternoon, in a beautifully sunny Ardrossan I was delighted to participate in the crowning of Whitlees Gala King, Lewis Paterson, together with Queen Chloe.

I placed the sash as last year’s king, Baillie crowned his successor.

The splendidly attired Royal couple were supported by princesses Kaci Milligan and Imogen Curren and Princes Gio Russell and Zac Murchie.

Loads of events were laid on by the hardworking Committee of Whitlees Community Centre.

Today’s events continue until 6pm and include fairground shows, live music, a bonny baby contest and stalls.

The Whitlees Gala is a great day out.
