Earlier today I popped into the newly established Clyde Coast & Cumbraes Men's Shed at the Brisbane Centre, Bath Street.
Men’s sheds are community spaces for men to connect, converse and create while helping to reduce loneliness and isolation.
Membership of this new shed is open to people from West Kilbride, Fairlie, Skelmorlie, Cumbrae and Largs.
A further drop-in session will be held between 11am and 3pm tomorrow, Saturday 25 February, providing an opportunity for people to have a look at the facility, ask questions and receive information on membership and shed activities.

The centre will officially open on Saturday 04 March and will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays each week.
