Following the success of today’s North Ayrshire Funding Fayre at Saltcoats Town Hall, which he jointly organised with Patricia Gibson MP Kenneth Gibson MSP said:
“I am delighted that today’s event was so well attended.
“18 major local and national funding bodies participated, providing practical information, support and advice to community organisations, charities, and clubs from across North Ayrshire.”
Patricia added:
“As many people struggle, the third sector within North Ayrshire continues to play a hugely important role in supporting and developing our local communities.
“I was therefore delighted that today’s Funding Fayre was another resounding success, with lots of positive feedback from community groups regarding their many constructive conversations with funders.
“I trust that today’s event will support even more inspiring work.
“Many thanks to the funders who participated and to the numerous community group representatives who attended.”
