Scottish Economy Outperforms the UK

At First Minister’s Questions yesterday, I highlighted that the Scottish economy outperformed the UK economy on a range of measures last month.

Much to the chagrin of opposition politicians and other naysayers, Scotland outperformed the UK as whole in private sector business activity, was third among the UK’s 12 regions and nations for economic growth and is currently enjoying the greatest expansion of business activity in nearly a year.
