On 16 November I met with Paul Daly, Advocacy and Activism Officer at AmnestyScotland and Boniface Massah, National Co-ordinator of the Association of Persons with Albinism.
We discussed how the Scottish Parliament can assist the Malawian government in terms of police training, educational, mental and rehabilitation support for the albino community of Malawi.
Thousands of people with albinism – particularly children – are at huge risk of abduction and killings in Malawi, where their body parts are sold for witchcraft.
