Calling for Increased Investment in the Largs-Glasgow Rail Line

Yesterday, I asked Transport Secretary Fiona Hyslop MSP, to urge Network Rail - a body under Westminster control - to allocate greater investment to the Largs-Glasgow line, with the objective of increasing the service frequency from hourly to half-hourly.

This request follows clear indications from constituents that there is strong demand for more frequent services.
