Revenue Scotland MSP Drop-In Session

On Wednesday I sponsored an MSP drop-in session for Revenue Scotland, Scotland’s devolved tax authority, at the Scottish Parliament.

As they mark their 10th anniversary in 2025,Revenue Scotland’s Senior Leadership Team gave MSPs the opportunity to learn more about the future of Scotland’s devolved tax landscape and ask questions relating to Revenue Scotland and the taxes they administer.

Moving into their second decade of operation, Revenue Scotland continues to play a vital role in collecting and managing Scotland’s wholly devolved taxes.

Currently responsible for the collection of Land and Buildings Transaction Tax and Scottish Landfill Tax, they are preparing to welcome two additional devolved taxes: Scottish Aggregates Tax in 2026 and Scottish Building Safety Levy in 2027.
