Funding Fayre for Community Groups in Saltcoats Town Hall this Friday

Local MSP Kenneth Gibson has organised his seventh funding fayre for community organisations to connect with both national and Ayrshire funders.

This annual event is in Saltcoats Town Hall between 10AM-12.30PM this Friday, 27 June.

Kenneth Gibson MSP commented:

“As many people and community groups are struggling, the third sector within North Ayrshire continues to play a hugely important role in supporting and developing our local communities, and this event will help pave the way for even more inspiring work.

“The objective is primarily for local groups to secure funding, network and exchange ideas.

“The event is usually attended by 120-150 community organisations and 18-20 funders, who actively engage with local organisations.

“This enables community groups to discuss funding opportunities directly with funders – finding out what they might be eligible for and how to apply, while establishing valuable connections with potential funders to help grow and sustain local initiatives.“

“All representatives of North Ayrshire charities, clubs and social enterprises are welcome to attend.”
