Managing Scotland’s Deer Population

Deer management in Scotland is becoming increasing important as deer numbers increase, putting pressure on the environment, particularly forestry.

Please see my contribution to the debate here, in which I suggested that the reintroduction of the Eurasian Lynx, which has happened successfully across Europe, would help to address rising deer numbers.
