Today marks International Women’s Day, highlighting the achievements of women across the world.
This year’s theme, DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality, hopes to build a gender equality future by ensuring women have equal opportunities to access digital skills.
Only 27% of engineering graduates are women across the globe, even though at school girls do as well as boys in science and technology.
By providing universal broadband access for teachers, students, and schools – and ensuring digital literacy for its users – we can increase girls’ exposure to science, technology engineering and mathematics.
